Product overview

Laboratory chemistry closer to the patient

The Piccolo Xpress uses self-contained, single-use reagent discs to automate sample processing and chemistry measurement at the point of care. The operator adds the sample, inserts the disc and follows the color touchscreen prompts.

Completed results can be viewed on the display, printed using the built-in thermal printer or transferred to compatible external systems. The integrated intelligent Quality Control system, iQC®, performs automated checks during each run.

Three steps from sample to result

1

Add the sample

Transfer 100 µL of whole blood, serum or plasma to a compatible reagent disc.

2

Insert the disc

Follow the touchscreen prompts and place the disc in the analyzer drawer.

3

Review the panel

View, print or transmit the completed chemistry results in approximately 12 minutes.
