Robotiq / application buying guide
Robotiq EPick Vacuum Gripper Kit for UR e-Series – 1 Cup
Robotiq EPick generates vacuum with a built-in electric pump, making it an option where an external compressed-air supply is undesirable. This listing identifies the one-cup UR e-Series kit, VAC-ES-UR-EPICK-KIT1. Confirm the supplied controller generation and software before selecting an integration package.

Where Robotiq EPick fits
Applications and buying fit
Evaluate EPick for transferring objects with a suitable suction surface, including appropriate flat metal, plastic or packaged products. Assess the actual surface, curvature, leakage, acceleration and release requirements. A single-cup kit must be evaluated for that specific contact arrangement.
What this offer covers
Confirm the exact vacuum gripper kit, suction cup, robot coupling, wiring, tubing and software access. Controller-specific adapters or accessories must be listed. A robot arm, vision camera and warehouse application software are separate items.

Integration and compatibility
Software and control
Robotiq supplies robot integration resources, but compatibility depends on the exact controller and plugin. The manufacturer’s PolyScope X information currently states that EPick is not yet supported there. Confirm current support and the intended PolyScope generation rather than assuming that every UR e-Series configuration works.
Engineering checks that matter
The current Robotiq PolyScope X page lists EPick as unsupported there. Compare the specific UR controller and software generation with the kit, especially when considering a current CB7-based UR12e package. Do not approve a combination from the words UR e-Series alone. A single contact point also needs evaluation for rotation, peeling and seal loss during transfer.
Compare configurations before buying
Compared with AirPick, EPick uses an electric vacuum source rather than external compressed air. Compared with a multi-cup EPick setup, the one-cup kit has a different contact footprint and application envelope. Expand to two or four cups only with the matching hardware and validation.
| Decision | EPick one-cup kit | OnRobot VGP30 |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum source | Integrated electric pump | External compressed air |
| Contact layout | One cup in requested kit | 20-cup pad; two channels |
| Published flow | 12 L/min | Up to 440 L/min total |
| Payload selection | Validate single-cup grasp | Conditional 30 kg cardboard-box rating |
Plan the complete installation
Do not apply the product family’s maximum multi-cup payload to the one-cup kit. Suction performance depends on cup area, seal, vacuum level, object mass and movement. Confirm grip detection, vacuum loss response and the safe recovery procedure for a failed pick.
How to validate the application
Test vacuum buildup and retention on representative surfaces, including worn or porous examples. Include the highest intended acceleration and least favourable orientation. Confirm loss-of-vacuum detection and release timing. Do not transfer the multi-cup family maximum to this one-cup offer.
Agree the acceptance evidence
Define the representative products or parts, operating conditions and pass criteria before approval. Keep the selected hardware, software versions and settings with the test record. Assign responsibility for installation, commissioning, training and recovery procedures in the proposal.
Robotiq EPick price, supply and package scope
Request a written quotation
Ask for the exact model, condition, quantity and itemised accessories. Selling price and lead time are confirmed against that offer. External market listings are research references and are not our selling prices or proof of stock.
Delivery, warranty and support
Confirm packing, insurance, freight terms, customs responsibilities and the service location for your destination. Warranty coverage and return procedures depend on the supplied package and commercial agreement. Request installation and training separately where required.
Documentation and project resources
Video context: the manufacturer installation tutorial demonstrates an earlier setup. It does not establish compatibility with every current controller.
Robotiq EPick frequently asked questions
Does EPick need compressed air?
EPick uses an electric vacuum pump. Confirm the electrical connection and exact kit requirements.
Does the one-cup kit lift the multi-cup maximum payload?
Do not assume that. Validate the one-cup contact arrangement, seal and load against the manufacturer’s limits.
Is EPick supported on PolyScope X?
The manufacturer compatibility page reviewed states it is not yet supported there. Verify the current controller and software combination before purchase.
Can the one-cup version carry the 16 kg family maximum?
That multi-cup figure must not be applied to this kit. Cup size, seal, surface and motion require an application-specific load assessment.
How do I request an accurate quotation?
Send the exact model, delivery country, quantity, required configuration and target purchase date. Include the task, existing equipment and any acceptance requirement so the offer can be checked against your application.
What delivery and warranty terms apply?
The written quotation must identify freight terms, import responsibilities, lead time, warranty coverage and service route. A third-party seller listing does not establish AI Robot Supplier inventory or delivery commitments.
