Zivid / application buying guide
Zivid 2+ MR130 Industrial 3D Camera
The Zivid 2+ MR130 is an industrial 3D colour camera in Zivid’s R-series, positioned for piece picking, bin picking and parcel handling. It supplies perception data for a robotic application rather than a complete picking cell. Select it by working volume, product surfaces and host-system requirements.

Where Zivid 2+ MR130 fits
Applications and buying fit
Use the camera as a candidate for robots handling mixed items where depth and colour data support segmentation and grasp selection. Request image samples of transparent packaging, dark plastics, reflective surfaces and overlapping products at your proposed installation distance.
What this offer covers
Confirm the camera revision, mounting hardware, power supply, data cables, calibration accessories, SDK access and warranty route. Do not assume a robot, computer, application software or gripper is included with a camera-only quotation.

Integration and compatibility
Software and control
A complete application needs camera acquisition, calibration, object processing, grasp planning and robot communication. Confirm Zivid SDK support, operating system, host processing hardware, integration libraries and any third-party software licences. Compatibility with a given computer or AI platform must be checked for the deployed software versions.
Engineering checks that matter
The current MR130 datasheet lists a wider working range than older summaries. Keep that broad range separate from the best operating region for the selected imaging engine. Request point clouds at the actual distance and measure the time until usable data reaches the application, including transfer and processing.
Compare configurations before buying
MR130 is the R-series model designation and should not be confused with the older M130. Compared with Zivid 3 XL250, its intended application and working volume differ. Choose from actual camera-to-object distance and field-of-view requirements instead of megapixel count alone.
| Metric | Zivid 2+ MR130 | Zivid 3 XL250 |
|---|---|---|
| Resolution | 2448 × 2048 | 2816 × 2816 |
| Focus | 1300 mm | 2500 mm |
| Distance | 800–2700 mm working range | 1500–4000 mm recommended |
| Typical selection | Compact piece-picking volumes | Larger stationary pallet or bin coverage |
Plan the complete installation
Capture settings, scene geometry, lighting, surface properties and host processing affect results. A fast acquisition specification is not the same as full point-cloud availability or end-to-end picking cycle time. Check visibility in bin corners and at low fill levels.
How to validate the application
Capture representative dark, reflective and wrapped products. Inspect missing points on the grasp surface, repeat captures, bin-wall visibility and result latency. Include the exposure profile and host specification in the test report so the result can be reproduced.
Agree the acceptance evidence
Define the representative products or parts, operating conditions and pass criteria before approval. Keep the selected hardware, software versions and settings with the test record. Assign responsibility for installation, commissioning, training and recovery procedures in the proposal.
Zivid 2+ MR130 price, supply and package scope
Request a written quotation
Ask for the exact model, condition, quantity and itemised accessories. Selling price and lead time are confirmed against that offer. External market listings are research references and are not our selling prices or proof of stock.
Delivery, warranty and support
Confirm packing, insurance, freight terms, customs responsibilities and the service location for your destination. Warranty coverage and return procedures depend on the supplied package and commercial agreement. Request installation and training separately where required.
Documentation and project resources
Zivid 2+ MR130 frequently asked questions
Is MR130 the same camera as M130?
No. Confirm the R-series MR130 designation and manufacturer order code rather than treating it as legacy M130 stock.
Does this camera include bin-picking software?
The supplied camera and software scope must be itemised. A camera-only offer does not imply a complete picking application.
Will it see every transparent product?
Do not assume universal material coverage. Test the actual packaging, lighting and working distance before acceptance.
Is the current working range limited to 2000 mm?
The linked current datasheet lists 800–2700 mm. The best operating region still depends on imaging engine and the required result.
How do I request an accurate quotation?
Send the exact model, delivery country, quantity, required configuration and target purchase date. Include the task, existing equipment and any acceptance requirement so the offer can be checked against your application.
What delivery and warranty terms apply?
The written quotation must identify freight terms, import responsibilities, lead time, warranty coverage and service route. A third-party seller listing does not establish AI Robot Supplier inventory or delivery commitments.
